Quick Overview
Job Description
Centrix is a leading innovator and manufacturer of dental materials, proudly celebrating over 50 years of excellence in the industry. Headquartered in Shelton, CT, we are known for developing cutting-edge dental products that are trusted by professionals worldwide. Our talented sales team is primarily remote, and we are looking to add motivated, experienced individuals who are passionate about improving patient care and advancing dental practices. We are seeking experienced clinical dental assistants or hygienists who are ready to transition from chairside to the corporate side of dentistry.
If you have clinical experience and are eager to use your knowledge in a remote sales role, this is an exciting opportunity to make a broader impact. Join our successful team, where we have been "Making Dentistry Easier" for our customers for over 50 years! As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for proactively helping dental professionals discover and implement Centrix products and techniques that enhance patient care.
You will manage your assigned territory’s growth and development, provide training and educational programs, and collaborate with distributor partners to drive sales results. This is a remote-based (virtual) sales position with some limited travel opportunities for educational programs and dental conventions. Use telephone, video conferencing, and other virtual tools to cover your territory and engage with clients. Introduce both new and established Centrix products to the dental community. Conduct Lunch & Learn programs, both virtually and in-person, to educate customers.
Collaborate with dealer sales representatives to close sales and uncover additional sales opportunities. Maintain a high level of daily activity to prospect for new accounts and service existing accounts, expanding product usage and ensuring exceptional customer service. Accurately enter orders, quotes, pricing, and customer information into Centrix’s CRM system. Attend and participate in conventions and dealer sales meetings as needed.
Complete required reporting, including call and expense reports, in accordance with company policies.
2+ years of dental office or chairside experience (dental assistant or hygienist).
~ Proficiency in phone, video conferencing, and in-person communication.
~ Computer literate with experience using CRM systems, Outlook, Excel, Word, and Zoom.
~ Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to learn and succeed in a sales environment.
