Senior/Principal Software Engineer

Senior Software Engineer | On-site | Up to £65,000 per annum

The Role

• Lead the design and delivery of embedded software for complex, safety-critical systems.
• Develop drivers, protocols, and human-machine interfaces with certification artifacts.
• Define system and software architectures, and solve complex engineering challenges.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and influence best practices.
• Engage with customers to shape strategy and drive innovation.
• Work across the full software lifecycle, including integration, verification, and validation.

What You'll Need

• Degree or equivalent qualification in a Scientific/Engineering discipline.
• Significant experience in C/C++ software engineering.
• Extensive experience in Software Architecture Design using UML or similar model-based techniques.
• Experience with modeling tools such as CAMEO, EA, Rhapsody, or Integrity Modeler.
• Experience with real-time embedded systems and interfacing software with hardware.
• Experience with development standards like DO-178B/C.
