Job Description
Position Title: Salesforce Developer
Location: Hartford, CT (Hybrid - Local candidate only)
Position Type: Hybrid (Contract)
Interview Process: First Video Than In Person
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, test, and maintain Salesforce applications.
- Develop solutions using Apex, Lightning, and Visualforce.
- Apply strong OOP principles, design patterns, CRUD concepts, and SOQL.
- Support existing custom Salesforce applications.
- Participate in the development and enhancement of the new CT-KIND system.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
- Support application integrations and provide technical analysis for integration requirements.
- Participate in all phases of the SDLC, from requirements through implementation and maintenance.
- Perform application testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Work with the System Integrator to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure effective ongoing application support.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to plan and accomplish project objectives.
- Mentor less experienced developers and provide technical guidance when needed.
- Take ownership of development tasks from requirements through implementation.
- Apply strong analytical, abstract-thinking, and problem-solving skills to resolve complex technical issues.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of overall professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Apex.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Strong knowledge of design patterns.
- Experience with Lightning Pages/Components and Visualforce.
- Strong knowledge of SOQL and Salesforce configuration.
- Experience with CRUD operations and full-stack development.
- Strong experience with .NET OOP and SOA.
- Strong SQL experience.
- Experience with end-to-end web application development.
- Strong C# and JavaScript development experience.
- Experience with Web Services and Windows Services.
- Strong understanding of responsive design patterns.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
