Job Description

Job Duties: Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture.

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field followed by eight years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a software developer-related occupation. Position requires:
1. Cloud platforms, Cloud Native and Container (Docker) based applications;
2. Automating the Build, Test and Deploy process in managing applications on Linux OS, Unix command line, and shell scripting; 3. Security aspects of software products and services;
4. Programming languages including Python, Perl, and Java;
5.

CICD Design and Development;
6. SDLC process for software cloud service; and
7. Cloud infrastructure design. Qualifications
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
