Job Description

Marvin is seeking a Director of Benefits to lead the strategy, design, and administration of our benefits programs supporting manufacturing, corporate, and field teams. This role will oversee health, welfare, retirement, wellness, and leave programs, ensuring competitiveness, compliance, and alignment with Marvin's people-first culture. The Director will manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and use data to optimize cost and value. Partnering with HR, Finance, and leadership, this role will enhance employee experience through clear communication, education, and continuous program improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead Marvin's enterprise-wide benefits strategy aligned with business goals and people-first culture.
  • Oversee design, implementation, and administration of health, welfare, retirement, wellness, and leave programs.
  • Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and other federal and state regulations.
  • Manage vendor and broker relationships, including RFPs, renewals, and contract negotiations.
  • Analyze benefits data, costs, and utilization to recommend improvements and control expenses.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and leadership on budgeting, workforce planning, and total rewards strategy.
  • Lead and develop the benefits team, setting priorities, goals, and service standards.
  • Create and execute clear employee communication and education plans around benefits offerings.
  • Support M&A, new locations, and organizational changes from a benefits perspective.
  • Continuously benchmark programs against market to ensure competitiveness and employee value.
