Perform echocardiograms at our Sunnybank clinic in Brisbane, part time or casual, on the days that suit you.

Heartscope, part of Scope Healthcare, is one of Melbourne's largest cardiac diagnostic providers, with over 15 locations across metropolitan Melbourne. Our Sunnybank clinic brings Heartscope to Brisbane, offering echocardiograms, ECGs and heart rhythm and blood pressure monitoring alongside Sleepscope's sleep and respiratory services. We're now looking for a Cardiac Sonographer to join our Sunnybank team, part time or casual.

What you will do

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms across a varied caseload referred by local GPs and specialists.
• Assess a broad range of cardiac pathology, including valvular heart disease, LV systolic and diastolic function, cardiomyopathies, structural heart abnormalities and other complex pathology.
• Write up your measurements and findings accurately, so each study is ready for reporting.
• Explain each scan clearly and put your patients at ease.

You're thorough with every study, look after your patients, and work well with the team around you.

We're looking for:

• ASAR registration as an Accredited Medical Sonographer, with a recognised qualification in cardiac ultrasound.
• Experience performing echocardiograms independently and confidence identifying and assessing cardiac pathology.

Advanced echo experience will be highly regarded.

You will have an opportunity to:
