Turner & Townsend are leaders in professional services to the Data Centre sector globally. Due to the continued success and expansion of our Data Centre business in Germany we are currently recruiting for an experienced MEP Project Manager (m/f/d) QA/QC to join our Data Centre team in Düsseldorf.
In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, compliance, and successful delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), Security, Controls, and Connectivity systems on large-scale construction projects. The role oversees inspections, testing, quality documentation, issue resolution, and contractor performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and industry standards.
- Identify, track, and resolve quality issues and non-conformances.
- Supervise inspections, testing, and commissioning activities for MEP, Security, Controls, and Connectivity systems.
- Maintain QA/QC records and quality documentation within project management platforms.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans with project stakeholders.
- Communicate quality, technical, and site issues to project and quality management teams.
- Verify contractor progress and support project reporting.
- Maintain site records and daily progress reports.
- Represent the Owner's Representative (OR) during trade-to-trade and system handovers.
- Participate in client safety programs and promote a strong safety culture.
- Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Multiple years’ experience in a Quality role on large construction projects, ideally data centres or mission‑critical facilities
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, defect management, and handover processes
- Experience working to detailed technical specifications
- Excellent coordination, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency with a variety of related computer software applications including MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Project, Word) is required
- Experience and proficiency with online document management applications is a plus
- Fluent English (written and spoken) required; German proficiency is a strong advantage
- Availability for on-site work
- Experience in a QA/QC, supervisory, or project management role on large-scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, building services, testing, commissioning, and quality processes.
- Experience with Security Systems (Access Control, CCTV), Building Controls (BMS), and Connectivity infrastructure (Structured Cabling, Fiber, Network Systems) is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction project management tools.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on quality, continuous improvement, and project delivery.
