The Role
An opportunity has arisen for an Indirect Tax Manager to join the Group Tax team, taking ownership of indirect tax compliance and advisory matters across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
• Support end-to-end preparation of indirect tax returns (e.g. VAT and GST) prepared by third-party providers, ensuring compliance with reporting and collection obligations across all relevant jurisdictions
• Perform GL reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Improve current indirect tax reporting systems and processes to strengthen controls and reduce time spent on return preparation
• Partner with corporate applications teams to ensure readiness for future developments, such as e-invoicing and real-time digital reporting
• Address business queries relating to customs duties and import VAT/GST, and ensure contracts adequately address these taxes to minimise risk
• Work with local advisors where appropriate to provide tax advice on miscellaneous matters
• Support the wider Group Tax team on indirect tax matters
• Monitor and assess the impact of legislative and regulatory changes on the group's VAT obligations
About You
• Relevant recognised qualification (ACA, CTA or equivalent)
• 3+ years' relevant tax experience within a Professional Services firm, plus post-qualification in-house experience
