Cloud Platform & AI / DevOps Engineer

job summary:

We are seeking a Cloud Platform & AI/DevOps Engineer to join our team in Hartford, CT. In this hybrid role, you will be key in driving modern cloud architecture on AWS, automating deployments, implementing SRE best practices, and applying advanced Generative and Agentic AI tools to enhance engineering operations.

responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Implement AI/GenAI and Agentic AI solutions to automate operational workflows.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, and Terraform (IaC).
• Drive SRE practices including system observability, proactive monitoring, and incident response.
• Write clean Python scripts to automate routine engineering and operations tasks.

qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree (Undergraduate) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

2-4 years of experience in Cloud (AWS), DevOps, and SRE environments.

Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD tooling (GitHub/Jenkins).

Practical experience or exposure to Generative AI and Agentic AI engineering applications.

Hands-on scripting skills in Python for operational automation.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes and AWS EKS.

AWS Certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, SysOps, or DevOps Engineer).

Familiarity with enterprise-level observability and monitoring frameworks.
