Legal Growth Senior Manager

We are partnering with a specialist advisory and executive search firm seeking an experienced legal-sector expert to join its Growth Advisory team. This role will play a key part in delivering high-quality advisory projects, enhancing the firm's legal-sector knowledge and propositions, and developing insight-led thought leadership to support its wider growth ambitions.

This is not a business development or origination role. The successful candidate will work closely with Partners, Directors and other client-facing colleagues who lead relationship management and new business activity. Success in this position will be driven by the quality of sector expertise, client delivery and intellectual contribution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead defined workstreams on legal-sector advisory projects, with appropriate oversight from a Director or Partner.
• Manage day-to-day client relationships throughout project delivery, ensuring effective communication, stakeholder alignment and a consistently high standard of service.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the legal market, including law firm economics, growth strategies, business models, talent trends, AI, legal technology and evolving client demands.
• Support project teams in framing key strategic questions, identifying relevant sources and interpreting legal-market developments.
• Contribute to the evolution of the firm's legal-sector advisory propositions, methodologies and reusable intellectual property.
• Produce high-quality analysis, insights and thought leadership that enhance the firm's position within the legal sector.

Ideal Candidate:

• 8+ years' experience advising on or working within the legal sector.
• Strong knowledge of the legal market, with demonstrable experience addressing legal-sector challenges and opportunities. Applicants do not need to be qualified or practising lawyers .
• Experience delivering strategy, growth, market assessment, proposition development, operating model or related advisory engagements.
• Proven ability to independently manage substantial project workstreams and develop clear, actionable recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create concise, executive-level reports, presentations and thought leadership content.
• Entrepreneurial and proactive mindset , with enthusiasm for helping build and grow a developing advisory practice.
