Job description

About the Role

Build production AI infrastructure and user-facing applications for institutional finance teams. You will work directly with investment professionals to turn complex research, analytics, and data workflows into practical software, delivering quickly and incorporating real user feedback.

What You'll Do

  • Develop LLM-powered research tools, natural-language interfaces, automated summaries, and agentic workflows for investment teams.

  • Build agent orchestration, MCP-connected data sources, and tools that enable AI systems to work with live financial data.

  • Create full-stack applications for portfolio analytics, risk management, and research workflows, using Python APIs and React interfaces.

  • Design and maintain reliable data pipelines for positions, securities, risk metrics, and research signals.

  • Implement performance and risk analytics using time-series and linear algebra tools such as Pandas or Polars.

  • Deploy and operate applications with Kubernetes, iterating based on feedback from users.

What We're Looking For

  • Three to eight years of experience building applied AI products, including user-facing agentic features from initial concept through production.

  • Strong Python and API development experience with FastAPI, Flask, Django, or similar, plus experience building user-facing applications with React.

  • Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, MCP servers, agent frameworks such as LangChain, and prompt engineering.

  • Sound understanding of agentic systems and practical experience using AI development tools effectively.

  • Experience building on existing AI infrastructure rather than focusing primarily on model research, training, or fine-tuning.

  • Interest in institutional finance, with relevant experience in fintech, quantitative, or data-intensive fields.

  • Comfort working through ambiguous problems and delivering software in fast-moving environments.
