Service Technician

Technician - Full-Time
Location: Columbus, OH
Pay: $23/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour daytime shift

Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Technician to assist with the assembly, delivery, servicing, and repair of specialized mobility and medical equipment. This position involves working in a variety of environments and requires strong attention to detail, customer service skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls and perform quality repairs in a variety of environments, including the shop, customer locations, clinics, schools, and care facilities.
• Assemble mobility equipment, seating systems, specialty equipment, and home accessibility products according to manufacturer and customer specifications.
• Perform inspections, adjustments, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with organizing equipment, parts, and special orders.
• Deliver equipment to customers as directed.
• Assist with fitting and adjusting equipment to meet customer needs.
• Provide customers with basic instructions on the proper use and care of equipment.
• Assist other technicians and specialists with technical tasks as needed.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service.
• Follow all safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Valid driver\'s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in different environments and traveling to customer locations.
