Lead Software Developer

The Role

• Design, develop, and maintain software components, both independently and as part of a team.
• Participate in software planning, estimation, and technical discussions, contributing to design and implementation approaches.
• Analyze system requirements and translate them into robust software designs.
• Lead the implementation of moderately complex features, ensuring code is scalable, maintainable, and efficient.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity across coding, debugging, testing, and documentation.
• Perform code reviews and troubleshoot complex software issues.

What You'll Need

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance (US Citizenship required).
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in C++ and experience developing production-quality code.
• Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted software development tools to improve efficiency and code quality.
• Strong ability to evaluate, validate, and refine AI-generated code.
• Solid understanding of software design principles, debugging, testing, and code quality practices.
