ERP Administrator

Description
Robert Half is seeking an ERP Administrator for our client in Madison, WI. This role will support and enhance a NetSuite environment that serves finance and business operations teams. This role will focus on system administration, process improvement, reporting, user support, and cross-functional collaboration with accounting and business stakeholders.
What You'll Do

• Administer and support the NetSuite ERP platform, including user access, roles, permissions, and security
• Configure and maintain workflows, dashboards, saved searches, reports, and system enhancements
• Partner with finance, accounting, and business teams to gather requirements and implement solutions
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide ongoing end-user support and training
• Support integrations, upgrades, implementations, and third-party applications
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and usability
• Assist with data management, reporting, process automation, and documentation efforts
• Develop and maintain testing procedures to ensure system reliability and functionality
• Stay current on NetSuite features, best practices, and emerging technologies

Requirements

• Experience administering or supporting NetSuite in a business environment
• Understanding of ERP systems, business processes, and financial operations
• Knowledge of accounting concepts such as general ledger, accounts payable, and financial reporting
• Experience creating reports, dashboards, workflows, and saved searches within NetSuite
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective system solutions
• Experience supporting integrations, APIs, or connected business applications
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
• Experience with user training, documentation, and process improvement initiatives
• Advanced reporting and Excel skills preferred
• Exposure to automation tools, AI-enabled solutions, or workflow optimization is a plus
• NetSuite certification preferred

Preferred Background

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, Accounting Information Systems, or related experience
• Experience partnering closely with accounting, finance, or financial operations teams
• Experience supporting ERP implementations, upgrades, or system optimization projects
