Job description
About the Role
Join the R&D team at an early-stage robotics company building software for AI-driven robots in production environments. You will work across the robotics stack to ship systems that improve real-world robot performance.
What You'll Do
Coordinate real-time robot software, motion-planning optimization systems, and machine-learning pipelines across platforms.
Build and maintain data-labeling interfaces, perception systems, and compilers for robot intelligence.
Work across firmware, robotics software, and cloud infrastructure to address high-priority technical challenges.
Collaborate with teammates to design and ship systems for production robotics.
Deploy software in customer facilities and evaluate its impact on robot performance.
What We're Looking For
One to three years of software engineering experience in robotics, automation, or embedded systems.
Experience building and shipping software for physical robotic systems used in production or by customers, with ownership of engineering outcomes end to end.
Strong programming fundamentals and Python proficiency; experience with TypeScript, React, or C/C++ is useful.
Hands-on experience with production robotics and hardware/software integration, beyond web or CRUD applications.
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, systemd, ROS, motion planning, or robot optimization is beneficial.
A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, robotics, or a related engineering field.
Comfort working in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment with evolving priorities.
