Linux Site Reliability Engineer - London

Our client is a leading global alternative investment manager. Its technology runs a sophisticated, systematic trading platform across a 24x7 global estate, held to a high bar for engineering, security and talent. You will work in a small, senior team where ownership is real and your work reaches the business directly.

What you'll do

• Drive patching and automation across the Linux environment, on premise and in the cloud
• Monitor, triage and resolve production issues on the systematic trading platform
• Contribute to automation, tooling and runbooks that reduce manual work and prevent repeat incidents
• Take part in the follow-the-Sun on-call rota and handovers with other regions
• Grow your ownership of services and your depth across the platform

What you'll bring

• 3+ years in production support or systems engineering in a demanding environment
• Solid Linux fundamentals and Scripting (Python or Bash)
• A genuine reliability mindset and an appetite to automate and improve
• Clear communication and a calm head under pressure

Nice to have

• Exposure to observability tooling and CI/CD
• Interest in trading or market-data systems
• AWS familiarity
