Netzschutztechniker / Inbetriebnahmetechniker Umspannwerke m/w/d | Bad Tölz, Germany | Hybrid We're hiring for a leading European energy infrastructure company that plays a vital role in shaping the energy transition. The Role • Commissioning and optimizing medium, high, and ultra-high voltage substation projects up to 380kV. • Analyzing and resolving faults within protection and control systems, contributing to process improvements. • Configuring and parameterizing advanced protection and field control devices from leading manufacturers. • Performing precise commissioning of digital protection and control technology using state-of-the-art testing equipment. • Collaborating effectively with project management, planning, and installation teams. • Actively contributing to the green energy transition through participation in major energy infrastructure projects. What You'll Need • Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering. • Proven experience and technical knowledge in protection/control technology, ideally with independent commissioning of switchgear. • Familiarity with common communication protocols (IEC 60870-5-101/103/104). • Proficiency with configuration software for Siemens, Schneider, or ABB protection devices is a plus. • Strong teamwork, responsibility, decision-making, and communication skills with excellent German proficiency. • Valid driver's license (Class B) and willingness to travel regionally (typically Monday-Thursday).
