Job Description

Title: Vulnerability Management Analyst Job ID: 26-03151 Location: Remote Duration: 12 Months on W2 contract (Possible Extension)

Must-Have Skills:
  • 3+ years of Vulnerability Management experience
  • Hands-on experience with Qualys, Tenable, Nessus, or similar VM tools
  • Vulnerability assessment, remediation, and risk prioritization
  • Cloud, container, and enterprise infrastructure security

Job Summary:

Seeking a Vulnerability Management Analyst to support enterprise vulnerability operations by validating findings, assessing risk, coordinating remediation, and reducing security exposure across infrastructure, cloud, containers, endpoints, and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Validate, triage, and prioritize vulnerability findings
  • Coordinate remediation efforts with technology and security teams
  • Assess risk, business impact, and compensating controls
  • Support vulnerability scanning, reporting, and threat intelligence activities
  • Analyze vulnerability data, identify trends, and improve remediation processes
  • Track remediation progress and verify issue closure

Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of enterprise Vulnerability Management experience
  • Hands-on experience with Qualys, Tenable, Nessus, or similar tools
  • Strong understanding of vulnerability lifecycle, risk assessment, and remediation
  • Experience with cloud, containers, servers, endpoints, and network security
  • Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in regulated environments (PCI DSS, FFIEC)
  • Scripting with Python, PowerShell, SQL, or APIs
  • Experience with Power BI or Excel reporting
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, and container security
  • Security certifications (Security+, CySA+, CISSP) preferred

Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is $92.30 per hour.
