Job Description

A rapidly growing health technology company is seeking a full-time Senior Android Software Engineer to join its engineering organization. This role can support engineers interested in building premium mobile experiences that connect with sophisticated hardware and data-driven wellness products. The environment is highly collaborative and leverages modern Android technologies including Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow, MVVM, and MVI architectures.

This opportunity is ideal for engineers who enjoy ownership, product-focused development, and solving complex technical challenges that impact a global customer base. The team is building experiences used daily by high-performance individuals and is looking for someone who cares deeply about mobile quality, scalability, performance, and user experience. Engineers will have substantial visibility across product, engineering, and leadership teams while influencing the future direction of the platform.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 6+ years of professional Android development experience
  • Strong proficiency with Kotlin
  • Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose
  • Experience using Coroutines and Flow
  • Deep understanding of MVVM and/or MVI architecture patterns
  • Experience building scalable and maintainable mobile applications
  • Knowledge of testing, performance optimization, and code quality practices
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience building custom Compose UI components
  • Experience supporting connected hardware or IoT products
  • Background in healthcare, wellness, fitness, or consumer health applications
  • Startup or high-growth company experience
  • Familiarity with Bluetooth-connected devices and hardware integrations
