Role Summary
Fanatics Collectibles is seeking a Manufacturing Materials Planning Associate to support manufacturing operations across foil stamping, UV coating, chrome laminating, die cutting, and embellishment processes.
This role is designed as a developmental opportunity focused on manufacturing operations, vendor coordination, materials planning, file preparation, and production scheduling support. The associate will work closely with Manufacturing, Scheduling, Product Development, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to help execute critical production workflows and manufacturing initiatives.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically curious, process-oriented, and eager to develop expertise in complex manufacturing operations that are critical to Fanatics Collectibles’ premium product portfolio.
Essential Functions
- Assist in coordinating daily, weekly, and monthly material planning priorities across Foil, UV, Chrome, Die Cutting, and Scodix operations
- Support production readiness by ordering, tracking, and coordinating materials, dies, tooling, blankets, consumables, and vendor-supplied components to ensure on-time manufacturing execution
- Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to support accurate file preparation and material delivery timelines
- Help maintain inventory visibility, material usage tracking, and forecasting for manufacturing departments
- Support preparation and cleanup of manufacturing files for vendors, lasers, tooling, and production operations
- Assist with extraction and preparation of files for non-print manufacturing processes
- Support Scodix and embellishment file processing workflows, including numbering and finishing treatments
- Partner with Scheduling, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to help balance workload demand against department capacity
- Support initiatives focused on reducing material waste, minimizing make-ready time, improving throughput, and increasing manufacturing efficiency
- Assist with documentation and standardization efforts related to manufacturing operations
- Perform additional duties and special projects assigned
You Will…
- Work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Scheduling, Product Development, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Estimating teams to support manufacturing operations and material readiness
- Develop knowledge of foil stamping, UV coating, chrome laminating, die cutting, and embellishment production workflows
- Participate in engineering development reviews (EDRs), production meetings, testing initiatives, and manufacturing planning discussions
- Build foundational expertise in production planning, material coordination, inventory tracking, and manufacturing process execution
- Provide analysis and recommendations to improve planning, scheduling, material utilization, and manufacturing efficiency opportunities
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Manufacturing, Engineering or related field is a plus
- 1 – 5 years of experience, in manufacturing, material planning, production planning, print production, packaging, prepress, or related operational environments preferred
- Strong interest in manufacturing processes, print embellishments, and production operations
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
- Comfortable learning technical manufacturing concepts and vendor coordination processes
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment with shifting priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn prepress/Mac-based workflows
- Experience with print manufacturing, packaging, foil stamping, UV coating, or related processes is a plus
- Spanish & English proficiency preferred
