Ansible AI Automation Specialist

job summary:

We are seeking an experienced Ansible AI Automation Specialist to join our enterprise infrastructure team. In this role, you will lead the creation and optimization of automation playbooks, configure infrastructure as code, and integrate modern AI-assisted tools like Claude Code to transform our deployment processes.

responsibilities:

• Design, build, and optimize Ansible Playbooks, Roles, Collections, and Workflow Templates using Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) 2.x.
• Leverage AI tools (Claude Code) to accelerate code generation, perform refactoring, and troubleshoot automation scripts.
• Implement automated server provisioning, OS configuration management, patch deployment, and drift remediation.
• Integrate Ansible workflows with ServiceNow and third-party APIs via CI/CD pipelines and GitOps principles.

qualifications:

Expertise in Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform 2.x, including Playbooks, Roles, and Collections.

Strong hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code) for code generation and debugging.

Proficiency in Python scripting, YAML, Jinja2, and REST API integration.

Demonstrated experience with Git/GitHub workflows and GitOps practices.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with Event-Driven Ansible (EDA) and Automation Controller / Automation Hub administration.

Deep experience in ServiceNow ITSM workflow integration.

Background in enterprise patch management and compliance automation.
