Quality Analyst
About the RoleWe are seekingan experienced Quality Analyst to design and execute test collateral acrossintegration, API, backend, and GUI levels. This role is focused on manualtesting - applying strong test process knowledge and technique rather thanautomation scripting - to ensure changes are verified thoroughly and risk ismanaged effectively across complex, multi-system environments.
The successfulcandidate will bring hands-on experience with API testing, integration testing,and modern platform tooling, along with a solid understanding of working withingovernment organisations and their associated processes and governancerequirements.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and executetest cases, test scripts, and test collateral to verify changes at theintegration, API, backend, and GUI levels.
- Apply appropriate testtechniques and processes to ensure comprehensive coverage and risk-based testprioritisation.
- Conduct API testing usingPostman, including request/response validation, data verification, and errorhandling.
- Support integration testingacross multiple interconnected systems and platforms.
- Contribute to contract testingactivities where applicable, ensuring service interfaces meet agreedspecifications.
- Collaborate with development,business analysis, and delivery teams to understand requirements and translatethem into effective test coverage.
- Identify, log, and trackdefects through to resolution, ensuring clear and accurate documentation.
- Provide status reporting andquality metrics to project and delivery stakeholders.
- Work within governmentprocesses, standards, and governance frameworks to ensure compliance and auditreadiness.
- 3+ years' experience in integration testing.
- Working knowledge of Postman for API testing.
- Strong understanding of APItesting techniques and approaches.
- Experience working withingovernment organisations .
- Experience with AWS,including Lambda.
- Demonstrated ability to designtest collateral covering integration, API, backend, and GUI levels.
- Strong analytical andproblem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills,with the ability to work collaboratively across technical and non-technicalstakeholders.
- Experience with TricentisTosca.
- Knowledge of contract testingtechniques.
- Experience with Kafka or otherstreaming platforms.
- Familiarity with Kong (APIgateway) and Akamai.
- Available to commence within 4weeks.
- Able to provide creditable,verifiable references.
