Compliance Officer - Bank (m/f/d) - Larson Maddox

The Role

You will:

• Advise the business on a broad range of Compliance and regulatory matters
• Conduct Compliance monitoring and support the development of the monitoring framework
• Assess regulatory developments and help translate requirements into practical solutions
• Review new and changing business processes from a Compliance perspective
• Support the identification and management of Compliance risks
• Work closely with other risk and control functions
• Support internal and external reviews and follow up on identified actions
• Contribute to Compliance reporting and governance activities
• Take ownership of individual Compliance topics and improvement initiatives

We are interested in speaking with candidates who have:

• Experience within Compliance, regulatory consulting, risk or audit in financial services
• A good understanding of the German and European regulatory environment (e.g. WpHG, KWG, MaComp, MaRisk, MiFID II)
• Experience in regulatory advisory, monitoring or Compliance controls
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Confidence working with different business stakeholders
• A proactive and independent working style
• Fluent German and strong English
