Job Location: Charlotte, NC (five days onsite)

Java developer with Docker Mongo DB / Cockroach DB
 
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:
  • Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Rest API, microservices, Docker / openshift, MongoDB / Cockroach DB, Kafka, Cloud, Kubernetes.
  • Agile   concepts, CI/CD with 10+ years’ experience
 
Roles & Responsibilities:
• 10+ years of experience in Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Rest API, microservices, Kafka, Cloud, Kubernetes, MongoDB/Cockroach DB, Docker /OpenShift.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts, Agile way of working and CI/CD concets.
• Familiar with various design and architectural patterns. 
• Skill for writing reusable Java libraries. 
• Knowledge of concurrency patterns in Java.
• Familiarity with concepts of Spring Boot, Rest API, Micro service Architecture.
• Knack for writing clean, readable Java code.
• working with Relational (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application. 
• Understanding of the class loading mechanism in Java. 
• Understanding of JVM, its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds. 
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests. 
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git. 
• Familiarity with build tools such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle. 
• Familiarity with concepts of CI/CD, Kafka, MQ, Performance Improvement, Splunk, SQL.
