Data Quality Tester / ETL / SQL / Chicago

A leading organization is seeking a Data Quality Assurance Engineer to join its growing Data & Analytics team in a hybrid work environment. Required Skills & Experience Strong hands-on experience with ETL testing and data validation
Advanced SQL skills for data analysis, reconciliation, and verification
Experience working with dimensional data models and data warehouses
Ability to execute data migration and data integrity testing initiatives
Experience creating test plans, test cases, and regression testing strategies
Strong root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills
Experience working within Agile delivery environments
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Desired Skills & Experience Experience with Amazon Redshift or other cloud-based data warehouses
Exposure to Master Data Management (MDM) platforms
Experience validating BI dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions
Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, Hex, or similar analytics platforms
Experience with Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, C#, or similar scripting languages
Experience with SSIS packages or related ETL technologies
Background in data quality frameworks and automation initiatives What You Will Be Doing Validate data movement between source and target systems
Execute ETL, regression, migration, and performance testing activities
Perform data reconciliation and integrity checks across enterprise platforms
Develop and maintain testing documentation and test strategies
Partner with engineering teams to identify and resolve data issues
