About the Program:

We're a bit different to other internships in that we aren't limited to final year students or only offered over summer or winter breaks. Our paid program offers you the flexibility of being able to gain valuable work experience without sacrificing your studies.

The STAR program is a 2-year program, during which time you will gain experience in different areas.You'llhave a dedicated STAR manager to support your personal development and a rotational mentor to guide you asyoulearnthe ropes in each team. You will also have a STAR student mentor to help you find your way around and show you the best bits of the office!

The STAR Program is the part time job that gives you a competitive advantage over other students when you graduate, looks great on your LinkedIn profile and provides experience learning soft skills such as:

  • Internal presentations
  • Job shadowing
  • Project management
  • Time management

In this role as a STAR student, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Experiencedifferent aspectsof our business, often via6 monthrotations
  • Receive on-job structured development, coaching and mentoring and have the opportunity to interact with managers, leaders, and Executives from the Leadership team.
  • Work on a part-time basis during the academic year with an option to work full-time over the semester break - all paid of course!
  • Earn academic credit from accredited programs at your university for your experience.
  • Gain hands-on practical work experience and start building your professional network early.

At the end of the program, you will have the opportunity to apply for permanent opportunities within the business that will challenge and grow your current capabilities.

Who you are:(Requirements)

We're looking for University Students who are self motivated, have initiative, perseverance, and the hunger to stay curious. We're after people who enjoy working on meaningful innovative projects and are driven to continually learn.

Our STAR Program candidates will be:

  • Studying Degree(s) in Business,perhaps withan IT major although other academic backgrounds will be considered
  • Finishing their studies no earlier than end of 2028
  • Able to work at least2 days per week during semester (3 days preferred)
  • Highcalibre, self motivated individuals with excellent communication skills in English
  • Interested in technology, innovation, and how digital platforms can solve business challenges
  • Problem-solvers who are ambitious, passionate, resilient, proactive, open-minded, and able to manage pressure
  • Able to take onboard instructions, prioritise work, be a good listener, empathetic, collaborative, and team oriented
  • Must be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia

Nice to have:

  • Prior experience with AI tools and interest in learning them
  • University projects or personal work involving AI or emerging tech
