Lead Salesforce Developer 

Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania or Dallas, Texas or Denver, Colorado 

Contract: W2 only, 12 month contract with potential for extension or conversion to full time with either the client or CEI

Pay: $65/hour + optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match

Overview
This role requires a principal-level individual contributor with deep expertise in Salesforce development. Acting as a cross-team technical leader without direct authority, they will influence decisions, serve as an escalation point for risks, and coordinate development work. Key Responsibilities

• Act as a cross-team technical leader without direct authority, influencing decisions and coordinating development work.
• Define and enforce coding standards, guardrails, and best practices aligned with developer framework standards, security, and compliance mandates.
• Strong communication skills are essential to translate platform constraints into actionable guidance for developers, architects, and engineering leaders, and to clearly articulate tradeoffs during planning.
• Support SSE/EDGE development within the bank/LOB.
• Collaborate with testers, BSAs, scrum masters, product owners, and integration partners.
• Ensure completion of deadlines upon accuracy, limited bugs in QA, Jira, and production deployments without issues.
• Participate in interviews and technical assessments as part of the hiring process.
• Support potential periodic travel and as-needed deployments.

Required Skills

• Salesforce Development Experience (minimum 7 years)
• Apex (minimum 5 years experience)
• Cloud integration experience (minimum 3 years)
• Salesforce Certification(s)
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform and security standards
• Excellent communication skills for translating technical constraints
• Ability to influence and coordinate across teams without direct authority
• Experience working with testers, BSAs, scrum masters, and product owners
• Data analysis skills (bonus)
• AI tool experience such as CoPilot (bonus)
• Java (bonus)

Required Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred)
• HS Diploma with tech certification is acceptable, emphasizing work experience
