Senior DevOps

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client in Irving, TX that is seeking a Senior DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support business applications and technical solutions
• Contribute to the design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of software products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business partners, analysts, developers, and quality assurance teams to deliver solutions
• Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing activities
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues while supporting system reliability and performance
• Follow established best practices for security, scalability, maintainability, and operational excellence

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 7+ years of experience in Cloud computing and design
• Experience working with cloud-based technologies, infrastructure, and application environments
• Knowledge of automation, deployment, and infrastructure management tools
• Understanding of scalable, reliable, and secure system design principles
• Experience working with databases and data management concepts
• Proficiency in one or more programming or scripting languages
• Familiarity with source control and version management practices
• Understanding of system administration and application support processes
• Experience working in Linux or other enterprise operating system environments
• Ability to work effectively in Agile or other collaborative development environments
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision
• Collaborative team player with a proactive and adaptable mindset
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and applying new technologies and best practices

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
