Job Description

Equifind is partnering with a well-established Private Equity firm, based in Central London, with a strong track record across its investment portfolio and a reputation as a considered, disciplined investor in its sector. They are now looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join the team on a hybrid basis.


This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-performing environment, partnering across the business to shape and deliver the people agenda.

This role would suit an HR Business Partner with a background in financial services, ideally Private Equity, Asset Management, Investment Banking, or a related sector, who is comfortable operating at pace, managing complexity, and building trusted relationships with senior leaders.


The Role

  • Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to designated business areas, providing pragmatic, commercially-minded HR support
  • Partner with senior leadership on organisational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy
  • Lead on employee relations matters, ensuring a fair, consistent, and legally sound approach
  • Support performance management cycles, compensation reviews, and talent calibration
  • Drive engagement, culture, and retention initiatives across the firm
  • Work closely with Talent Acquisition, Reward, and L&D to ensure a joined-up people approach
  • Provide coaching and guidance to line managers on all aspects of the employee lifecycle
  • Contribute to broader HR projects and continuous improvement of policies and processes


About You

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner within financial services (PE, Asset Management, Investment Banking, or similar preferred)
  • Strong generalist HR knowledge with hands-on experience across ER, performance, reward, and talent
  • Confident operating with senior stakeholders and influencing at leadership level
  • Commercially astute, pragmatic, and comfortable in a smaller, close-knit team environment
  • CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience) preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and sound judgement in handling sensitive and confidential matters
