Job Description Patient Access Coordinator - $21-22/hr + Weekly Incentives Looking to start your career in healthcare? We're hiring a Patient Access Coordinator to join our patient outreach team. This is an in-person role based at our Palm Springs office - no prior healthcare experience required; we'll train you on everything you need to know. What you'll do:
  • Call patients to schedule wellness visits, physicals, and necessary follow-up appointments
  • Build genuine rapport with patients and coordinate with their care providers
  • Track outreach and patient info in our scheduling/EMR software
  • Work collaboratively with the care team - family, physicians, and providers - to coordinate services
  • Provide summaries to relevant stakeholders to help improve patient outcomes
  • Communicate as needed with physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Follow all HIPAA, confidentiality, and privacy guidelines
What we're looking for:
  • Reliable and punctual - someone we can count on to show up and follow through
  • Ready and willing to learn - we'll train you on our software and processes
  • Strong communication skills - friendly, clear, and professional on the phone
  • Comfortable learning new software quickly (Microsoft Office required)
  • Able to handle a fast-paced call environment
  • High school diploma required
Nice to have (not required):
  • AA or Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with patient engagement/interaction
  • Experience in a contact center environment
  • Experience with EMR software (eClinicalWorks, Athena, PracticeFusion, etc.)
  • Bilingual
  • Unrestricted driver's license
Schedule: Monday-Friday Required, on-site
