Job Description

Join our vibrant team at Banana Moon Day Nurseries as an Early Years Practitioner! We are dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years. In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to support children's development through engaging activities that promote learning and exploration.

Your key responsibilities will include planning and implementing play-based activities, observing and assessing children's progress, and building strong relationships with both children and their families. We believe that play is essential for children's growth, so your creativity and enthusiasm will be vital in helping create a fun and educational atmosphere.

Our nursery operates Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, and we offer flexible working hours to help maintain a healthy work-life balance. Competitive salary packages will be offered, aligned with your experience and qualifications.

Qualifications:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare or willingness to undertake the qualification.
  • Current First Aid and Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete).
  • SSSC registration (or the ability to obtain).

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working in a nursery or educational setting is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and adaptable to changing needs.
