Pay Range: $55.00hr - $60.00hr

Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and microservices architecture to design, build, and maintain high-performing, scalable applications.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing Java-based applications.
• Analyzing user requirements to inform application design.
• Defining application objectives and functionality.
• Aligning application design with business goals.
• Developing and testing software.
• Debugging and resolving technical problems that arise.
• Producing detailed design documentation.
• Recommending changes to existing Java infrastructure.
• Developing multimedia applications.
• Developing documentation to assist users.
• Ensuring continuous professional self-development.

Requirements:

• 12+ years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and C++.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Kafka.
• Strong experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Good exposure to cloud technologies.
• Experience in designing and building scalable, distributed applications.
• Experience in eCommerce projects.
• Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor s Degree in computer science or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in product development.
• Experience with Gitflow, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Experience with Atlassian products such as BitBucket, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, or TFS.
