DevOps Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer with Security Clearance

You’re not joining the DevOps team. You’re building it. We're putting together a small, highly selective engineering team inside the CTO Office of a major government organization. We're looking for the first few engineers who will help build a new capability from the ground up focused on how software gets built, deployed, monitored, secured, and kept running. You'll work directly with the CTO and senior technical leadership, not buried three layers down in a massive program. This is not a "keep the lights on" job. You'll help build:

• Modern CI/CD and developer pipelines
• Infrastructure-as-code and automation
• Containers and cloud infrastructure
• Monitoring, logging, and observability
• Secure, reliable deployment environments
• Automation that eliminates manual operational work
• Engineering practices that can scale across the organization
• We're looking for builders.

Your current title might be: DevOps Engineer. Cloud Engineer. Platform Engineer. Systems Engineer. Infrastructure Engineer. SRE. We're less interested in your title than what you can actually do. You should enjoy working across software, infrastructure, automation, security, and operations and be the kind of engineer who wants to figure out how things should work, not just maintain how they work today. Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, Git, Terraform, Ansible, Python, CI/CD, cloud, observability, APIs – familiarity with modern engineering tools is a plus. Why this team?
