Production

Parallel Employment Group in partnership with a Buffalo, NY manufacture are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Production and Assembly Operators to join our team. This position involves hands-on assembly, inspection, packaging, and production tasks in a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working with their hands, following established procedures, maintaining quality standards, and working efficiently to meet production schedules.

Pay: $16.00 per hour
Shifts: 2nd Shift & 3rd Shift Available
Location: Conveniently located on a bus route

Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Assemble and hand-apply sheets and individual parts.
• Perform manual and machine hole punching.
• Remove waste matrix from finished components.
• Inspect parts for quality and accuracy.
• Count and bundle completed parts.
• Wrap and perform final packaging.
• Plan and prioritize assigned tasks according to production schedules and required milestones.
• Work under close supervision from job to job or project to project based on scheduled production plans.
• Enter accurate production information into ERP software, including time and parts completed.
• Follow well-established practices and work within clearly defined procedures and responsibilities.
• Demonstrate initiative with basic problem-solving within assigned tasks.
• Learn and properly work with various adhesives and materials.
• Complete required production paperwork accurately.
• Make appropriate computer entries and maintain accurate records.
• Develop knowledge of membrane switch assembly techniques and production processes.
• May be required to assist with training other employees.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and properly care for equipment.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to perform repetitive hands-on production tasks.
• Basic computer skills and ability to enter production information accurately.
• Ability to work as part of a team while completing assigned tasks independently.
• Willingness to learn new assembly techniques, materials, and processes.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
