Senior Azure Cloud & DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Azure Cloud & DevOps Engineer to lead key platforming initiatives for a global banking client. In this role, you will architect, secure, and automate scalable enterprise Azure environments that meet stringent regulatory and compliance standards.

Your main focus will be Azure Service Enablement-designing and implementing Azure Policies and security guardrails that allow business units to safely adopt and leverage core Azure services at scale.

Requirements

• Deep hands-on experience with Azure, Azure Bicep, Terraform, and hub-and-spoke network design.
• Strong proficiency in Jenkins, GitLab, Python, and PowerShell for end-to-end automation.
• Proven track record architecting scalable cloud platforms within highly regulated financial or banking environments.
• Expertise in writing and enforcing custom Azure Policies and implementing secure cloud platforming solutions.

Job responsibilities

• Develop reusable, modular Azure Bicep and Terraform templates to automate the deployment of a scalable hub-and-spoke architecture, establishing a standardized foundation across developer environments.
• Architect secure, Internet-facing Azure platforms built to comply with strict banking regulations. Implement enterprise Azure Policies to govern service adoption without sacrificing developer velocity.
• Build and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines to automate infrastructure provisioning, networking, certificate life cycle management, developer onboarding, and zero-downtime blue/green releases.
