Job description

Time Appointments are working with a successful and growing business that is looking for a Marketing Executive to join their team based in Ipswich.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative, organised and commercially minded individual looking to build their career in marketing. You'll be involved across a broad range of marketing activity, so this is definitely not a role where you'll be doing the same thing every day.

From social media and content creation to website updates, marketing campaigns and general marketing support, you'll have the opportunity to get involved, learn new skills and make a real contribution.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in a marketing, communications or digital marketing role
  • Good knowledge of social media platforms and an understanding of what makes engaging content
  • Experience creating engaging content across social media, digital and marketing channels
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant marketing software
  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • A creative mindset with plenty of ideas
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • A genuine interest in marketing and a willingness to learn and develop

Recent graduates with a degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business or a related subject are also encouraged to apply.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Managing and creating engaging content for social media channels
  • Supporting the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns
  • Creating content for websites, email campaigns and other marketing materials
  • Keeping website and digital content up to date
  • Assisting with email marketing and communications
  • Helping to create marketing materials, presentations and promotional content
  • Supporting events, exhibitions and other marketing activities
  • Monitoring social media engagement and marketing activity
  • Conducting basic market and competitor research
  • Helping to maintain brand consistency across marketing channels
  • Working closely with internal teams to understand their marketing requirements
  • Coming up with fresh ideas to improve the company's marketing presence
  • Providing general support across the marketing function when required
