Systems Engineer | Rancho Santa Fe, CA, United States | Hybrid | $107,900.00 - $195,050.00

We're hiring on behalf of a leading technology company that delivers innovative solutions for critical maritime missions. This organization is renowned for its rigorous engineering discipline and a commitment to advancing undersea technology. They are seeking a technical leader to drive system architecture, analysis, integration, and verification across a diverse range of underwater vehicles and sensor systems.

The Role

  • Serve as a technical leader across system architecture, analysis, integration, and verification activities.
  • Support a wide variety of underwater vehicles and unattended sensor systems.
  • Influence system-level decisions and shape technical baselines.
  • Mentor other engineers and collaborate with customers, software, hardware, and test teams.
  • Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering practices using Cameo for requirements and architecture support.
  • Oversee Technical Data Package development and ensure technical integrity.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering (Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Ocean), Computer Science, Physics, or Math.
  • 8 years of experience with subsea maritime systems or integrated electro-mechanical systems.
  • 8+ years of experience leading integrated teams.
  • Exposure to DoD technical program execution.
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.
  • Experience with TEMPALT development, ATO packages, and system safety analyses is strongly preferred.
