Head of Reserving - Personal Lines Motor & Home

I am working with a leading UK General Insurance business looking for a Head of Reserving to join their senior actuarial team on a 12 month FTC. Salary range between £110,000-£130,000 and requires one day in office per week in London. The role will have responsibility for leading reserving across Motor and Home portfolios, owning the end-to-end reserving process and providing clear insight into portfolio performance, emerging claims trends and key movements.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders across Actuarial, Claims, Underwriting, Pricing and Finance, while leading and developing a team of actuarial professionals. The role will also involve reserving governance, controls, audit and regulatory engagement, alongside supporting the wider business through a period of significant change and integration. Open to experienced General Insurance reserving actuaries with 7+ years of actuarial experience, strong technical reserving expertise and proven leadership experience.

You'll need to be comfortable taking ownership of reserving cycles, communicating complex analysis to senior stakeholders and managing high-performing actuarial teams. Eames Consulting is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
