Job Description

Papiertechnologe | Wörth am Rhein, Germany | Hybrid

We're hiring on behalf of a leading European paper industry company that distinguishes itself through its commitment to sustainability, utilizing 100% recycled paper as its raw material. This family-owned organization is a significant player across graphic papers, corrugated base paper, and corrugated packaging, operating with a forward-thinking approach and consistent investment in its future.

  • *The Role**

  • Operate and monitor production machinery both on-site and remotely from the control room.
  • Manage the startup and shutdown sequences of the paper machine, including re-establishing the paper web in case of breaks.
  • Execute felt changes and direct assigned personnel.
  • Perform cleaning of machinery components and replace doctor blades.
  • Adjust and verify paper web tension.
  • Monitor paper quality parameters using control room displays, quality control systems, and laboratory results.

  • *What You'll Need**

  • Successfully completed vocational training as a Paper Technologist or a comparable qualification.
  • Prior experience as a Paper Technologist is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, demonstrate flexibility, and handle pressure.
  • Experience with 5-shift operations is beneficial.
