Job Description

Papiertechnologe | Wörth am Rhein, Germany | Hybrid

We're hiring on behalf of a leading European paper industry company that distinguishes itself through its commitment to sustainability, utilizing 100% recycled paper as its raw material. This family-owned organization is a significant player across graphic papers, corrugated base paper, and corrugated packaging, operating with a forward-thinking approach and consistent investment in its future.

*The Role**

Operate and monitor production machinery both on-site and remotely from the control room.
Manage the startup and shutdown sequences of the paper machine, including re-establishing the paper web in case of breaks.
Execute felt changes and direct assigned personnel.
Perform cleaning of machinery components and replace doctor blades.
Adjust and verify paper web tension.
Monitor paper quality parameters using control room displays, quality control systems, and laboratory results.

*What You'll Need**

Successfully completed vocational training as a Paper Technologist or a comparable qualification.
Prior experience as a Paper Technologist is desirable.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, demonstrate flexibility, and handle pressure.
Experience with 5-shift operations is beneficial.
