Senior Software Lab Technician

Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Software Lab Technician with strong software engineering, networking, and telecommunications experience to support software testing labs and complex system environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain software lab infrastructure, hardware, and network equipment.

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, application, and network connectivity issues.

• Use tools such as ping, nslookup, and tracert for network troubleshooting.

• Coordinate lab equipment requirements and infrastructure upgrades.

• Manage inventory, equipment tracking, audits, repairs, RMAs, and maintenance.

• Track and document issues using JIRA and support root-cause analysis.

• Create and maintain SOPs, test-bench documentation, and knowledge-sharing materials.

• Support software testing teams and provide technical guidance.

• Collaborate with Development, Systems Engineering, Product, and Testing teams.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.

• 2+ years of networking experience.

• Experience with Windows and Unix/Linux environments.

• Experience with JIRA and MS Excel.

• Hands-on experience with telecommunications equipment and network environments.

• Knowledge of inflight connectivity systems, including WAPs, ACPU, devices, and network equipment.

• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• CompTIA A+

• CompTIA Network+

• CCNA or equivalent networking knowledge

• Aviation/IFEC experience

• Telecom network infrastructure experience

• Lab automation experience
