Job Description

Traffic Management Operative | Radlett, United Kingdom | On-site

An established provider of traffic management solutions is seeking an experienced Traffic Management Operative to ensure the smooth and efficient execution of various projects. This role is critical in maintaining high health and safety standards while managing traffic flow effectively.

The Role

  • Overseeing all traffic management methods, including temporary traffic signals, diversions, and road closures.
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with safe working practices and best procedures.
  • Conducting risk assessments and method statements for traffic management activities.
  • Performing daily vehicle checks to maintain safety and cleanliness.
  • Maintaining a positive company image through professional conduct and site upkeep.
  • Assisting the public by directing them through safe site lines.

What You'll Need

  • Lantra 12d accreditation as a minimum (TTMB / 12d M1-M2).
  • Lantra 12 a/b accreditation, IPV driver, or foreman experience is advantageous.
  • Understanding of Chapter 8 and the Safety at Street Works and Road Works (Red Book) and their application.
  • A full, valid UK driving licence.
  • Ability to read and understand CAD drawings related to project requirements.
  • Basic mechanical ability related to traffic lights is preferred.
