Job description
About the Role
Join the R&D team at an early-stage robotics company building software for AI-driven robots in production environments. This hands-on role spans the robotics stack, with work that directly supports robotic performance in real-world facilities.
What You'll Do
Coordinate real-time robot software, motion planning optimization, and machine learning pipelines across platforms.
Build and maintain data-labeling frontends, perception systems, and compilers for robot intelligence.
Work across firmware, robotics software, and cloud infrastructure to solve high-priority technical challenges.
Collaborate with teammates to design and ship systems that expand the capabilities of industrial robots.
Deploy software in customer facilities and improve performance based on real-world operation.
What We're Looking For
One to three years of software engineering experience in robotics, automation, or embedded systems.
Experience building and shipping software for physical robotic systems used in production or by customers, with end-to-end ownership of an engineering outcome.
Strong programming fundamentals and proficiency in Python; TypeScript and React are a plus.
A BS or higher in computer science, robotics, or a related engineering field.
Hands-on experience integrating hardware and software, with a solid understanding of full-system robotics.
Experience in a fast-moving startup or high-ownership robotics environment, and comfort adapting priorities.
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, systemd, ROS, motion planning, or robot optimization is beneficial.
