Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Sr. System Engineer with 4 6 years of experience in Systems Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Windows environments, Linux, virtualization, scripting/automation, and hybrid cloud infrastructure.

High-Level Skillset:

Mandatory Skills: Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server, Hyper-V, Scripting/Automation

Good to Have: AWS DevOps, EC2, S3, Lambda, Fargate, IAM, Wix

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server, and Linux servers, including installation, configuration, patching, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Configure, maintain, and monitor VMware, Hyper-V, and AWS cloud-based systems.

• Build, deploy, and maintain Docker/containerized applications and environments.

• Work with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, ECS, and EKS.

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, and/or Python.

• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.

• Apply cybersecurity best practices, including system hardening, monitoring, patch management, IAM, and vulnerability management.

• Collaborate with development, QA, and IT teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of software solutions.

• Troubleshoot complex system, application, infrastructure, and connectivity issues across hybrid environments.

• Document infrastructure, deployments, configurations, procedures, and operational processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4 6 years of experience in Systems Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related role.

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Windows 10, Windows 11, and Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, RHEL, and CentOS.

• Hands-on experience with VMware and Hyper-V virtualization.

• Experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, and VPC.

• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized applications.

• Exposure to Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS is a plus.

• Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, and/or Python scripting.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

• Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, including network security, IAM, system hardening, patching, and vulnerability scanning.

• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Experience with Wix is preferred.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or AWS CloudWatch.

• Experience working in regulated environments such as medical devices, pharmaceutical, or financial services.

• Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO, SOC 2, and HIPAA.
