Description
We are seeking an experienced professional for a contract position in Mississauga, Canada. 
The role involves developing solutions for financial business challenges, with a focus on risk calculations, trade analytics, and regulatory reporting. 
The ideal candidate will have experience with financial instruments and distributed computing systems.

Key Responsibilities
Create solution architecture artifacts that align with best practices for scalable cloud-based solutions.
Lead design sessions with engineers and stakeholders to develop effective solutions.
Conduct proof of concept analyses on potential solutions with a focus on rapid iteration.
Design business functions within the risk management ecosystem to streamline the technology footprint.

Qualifications
10 to 15 years of relevant software development experience.
3 to 4 years of experience in Solutions Architecture.
Strong communication skills.
Experience in the banking, financial, or payment sectors is a plus.
Proficiency in building solutions with design patterns, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native principles.
