Vice President – Full Java Stack Engineer

The Vice President, Project Manager is responsible for leading client onboarding, platform implementation, and strategic enhancement initiatives for BNY Archer Managed Account Services (MAS). This role serves as the central point of coordination between clients, internal business teams, operations, technology, and product stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of managed account solutions.

The VP Project Manager oversees the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and planning through implementation, testing, deployment, and post-launch support. Projects may include onboarding new retail SMA managers, multi-channel asset managers, wealth management firms, and managed account sponsors onto the Archer platform, as well as executing platform enhancements and new functionality requests.

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong project management discipline, exceptional client communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives while maintaining timelines, documentation, and stakeholder alignment.

Key Responsibilities

•             Lead client onboarding and implementation projects for Archer Managed Account Services.

•             Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, and action items.

•             Serve as the primary project contact for clients and internal stakeholders throughout implementation.

•             Facilitate requirements gathering, discovery sessions, and project kickoff meetings.

•             Create and maintain project documentation, status reports, governance materials, and executive presentations.

•             Coordinate activities across Operations, Technology, Product, Client Service, and external client teams.

•             Manage enhancement requests and functionality upgrades to the Archer platform.

•             Monitor project risks, dependencies, and deliverables while proactively addressing issues.

•             Lead client status meetings and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.

•             Support testing, implementation readiness, and post-launch activities.

•             Manage several concurrent projects, ranging from large strategic implementations to smaller enhancement initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

•             5-10 years of project management experience within financial services, asset management, wealth management, managed accounts, or investment operations.

•             Experience leading platform implementations, client onboarding, or technology-enabled business projects.

•             Strong proficiency with project management tools such as Asana, MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.

•             Exceptional communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

•             Experience working directly with retail SMA managers, multi-channel managers, broker-dealers, RIAs, or managed account programs is strongly preferred.

•             Familiarity with managed account platforms and related service models.
