Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Developer with expertise in Cloud Architectures and Public Cloud offerings to join our team in building a resilient, scalable, and secure cloud-based settlement platform. The role involves participating in requirements refinement sessions, contributing to architecture, design, and implementation, writing code and automated tests, and creating CI/CD pipelines while adhering to best practices in software development and DevOps. In our agile environment, you will collaborate with users, product owners, business analysts, and technologists across the firm. Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in requirements refinement sessions to ensure clarity and completeness.
• Write clean, performant, scalable, testable, and reusable code, and build automated tests.
• Mentor junior developers, guiding them to follow best software development practices.
• Implement DevOps practices, including creating CI/CD pipelines and enabling telemetry capture.
• Contribute to enhancing team standards and improving development processes.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in building distributed event-based systems using agile practices.
• Strong understanding of microservice architecture, design patterns, system resiliency, scalability, security, and observability.
• Proficiency in core Java, Spring Boot, and other Spring framework features.
• Experience in designing and implementing high-volume messaging- and REST-based middleware.
• Expertise in defining scalable database models (relational or others).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Familiarity with cloud-based development principles.
• Fast learner with a desire to constantly learn and improve.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud.
• Experience with Angular.
• Familiarity with Kafka and MongoDB.
• Prior experience in FinTech application development.
• Experience working in a global delivery team.

Pay Range: $70 - $85/hour on W2
