This is a high-profile role where you'll take ownership of the end-to-end architecture of contracted services, ensuring technical integrity, quality and alignment with both client objectives and contractual commitments.

  • Own and govern the end-to-end account architecture across a complex Managed Services environment.
  • Define technology strategies, roadmaps and future-state architectures.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to senior client stakeholders.
  • Lead architectural governance and ensure solutions meet agreed standards and practices.
  • Work closely with Domain Architects, Engineers and wider technical teams, providing direction and inspiration.
  • Build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Balance technical strategy with commercial and contractual considerations.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce new technologies and innovation that deliver genuine value to the client.

What we're looking for

You'll be an established Lead Architect / Enterprise Architect / Solutions Architect with significant experience working within complex Managed Services or large-scale technology environments.

You should have:

  • A strong track record of owning and governing end-to-end architecture.
  • Experience operating as a Lead Architect within a large Managed Services account.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and client relationship skills.
  • An understanding of contracts, commercials and service delivery.
  • The ability to translate business requirements into clear technology strategies and roadmaps.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the confidence to influence at senior level.
  • A passion for technology, innovation and continuous improvement.

Why this role?

This is an opportunity to take a genuinely influential architecture position within a major transformation programme. You'll have the autonomy to shape the technology landscape, work with senior stakeholders and lead a talented architecture and engineering community.

The role offers up to £115k, alongside a flexible hybrid working model with 2-3 days onsite in Salisbury.

Security: This role requires SC clearance eligibility. Candidates must normally have resided continuously in the UK for the previous five years, subject to the full clearance requirements.

If you're a Lead Architect looking for your next senior opportunity - where you can combine architecture, strategy, leadership and client engagement - we'd love to hear from you.
