SME Network Engineer

GovCIO is currently hiring for a SME Network Engineer with an active Secret clearance to provide classified and unclassified Tier 3 senior-level support for the design, implementation, and deployment of network-specific technologies across a government Enterprise environment consisting of hundreds of locations worldwide. This position is located in Arlington, VA and is a hybrid position.

Responsibilities

• Provides classified and unclassified Tier 3 senior-level support for the design, implementation, and deployment of network-specific technologies across a government Enterprise environment consisting of hundreds of locations worldwide.
• Provides engineering and operational support for cloud providers, including AWS and Azure, on-premise data centers, campus networks, Dynamic Multipoint Virtual Private Networks (DMVPN), Firewall, Layer 2/3, wireless networks, network applications installed on client workstations, optimization of various LAN and WAN environments, data center load balancing, and network access security, including 802.1x and Cisco ISE.

Qualifications

Bachelor's with 15+ years of network engineering (or commensurate experience)

Required:

• Active Secret Clearance required, plus the ability to obtain and hold DEA suitability

Preferred:

• CCIE
• CCNP certification
