This contract supports the CG ASC and associated units within the Department of State by providing a comprehensive suite of services, including:

The contractor will help improve operational effectiveness, streamline business processes, and support the successful implementation of CG ASC initiatives through automation, analytics, and enterprise application development.
Key responsibilities include identifying opportunities for operational improvement and developing automated business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools, including:
• Power Apps
• Power Automate
• Power BI
• Copilot Studio
• Other approved enterprise applications and technologies

Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
• Serve as the lead technical authority for all Microsoft Power Platform initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership across solution architecture, enterprise application development, and systems integration efforts.
• Establish governance standards, development frameworks, and best practices for Power Platform solutions.
Solution Architecture & Design
• Lead end-to-end solution architecture for enterprise-scale applications and automation solutions.
• Design secure, scalable, and maintainable applications aligned with business and strategic objectives.
• Ensure solutions meet client requirements, operational needs, and long-term organizational goals.
Platform Development & Integration
• Oversee the design and implementation of custom business applications and automated workflows.
• Guide integration efforts across enterprise systems and data sources.
• Support business process automation and digital transformation initiatives using Microsoft technologies.
Business & Program Support
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities.
• Recommend and implement automated business solutions.
• Support business transition planning and organizational change initiatives.
• Contribute to program reporting, performance management, and continuous improvement efforts.

Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
Candidates must meet one of the following requirements:
Option 1
• Bachelor''s degree (BA/BS)
• Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience
Option 2
• Master''s degree (MA/MS)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience
Option 3
• Expert-level technical certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert)
• Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience
• Certification may be substituted for a formal degree
Relevant Experience
Experience should include:
• Solution Architecture

Government Experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting U.S. Government agencies
• Demonstrated experience designing and deploying enterprise-scale solutions
• Experience with the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) or Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is preferred
