Full Stack Engineer

Location: Arlington, Virginia (Onsite)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer for a front-end focused role that involves building modern user interfaces and component-based applications. The ideal candidate will be a product engineer with experience in real-time applications and an interest in building AI-enabled user experiences for federal customers. This position requires operating within a consulting environment and collaborating directly with customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build modern user interfaces and component-based applications with a strong focus on React and TypeScript.
  • Develop real-time applications using technologies such as WebSockets and Server-Sent Events (SSE) for streaming data and event-driven interfaces.
  • Connect front-end applications to APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms while ensuring performance and scalability.
  • Implement modern software delivery practices, including Test-Driven Development (TDD), using tools like Playwright, Cypress, and Jest.
  • Develop AI-enabled products, such as copilots, conversational UIs, and workflow-based applications.
  • Collaborate directly with customers in a consulting capacity to deliver scalable solutions.
Required Qualifications

Technical Skills: A strong foundation in React and TypeScript is required. Experience with real-time application development tools such as WebSockets and SSE is necessary. Proficiency in testing frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, and Jest is also required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience building AI-enabled products, copilots, or conversational UIs.
  • Background in consulting or client-facing engineering roles.
  • Familiarity with modern engineering practices over traditional government contractor methodologies.
